High School Academics

Updated July, 2009

A student may always seek extra help from the teachers if he does not understand an assignment, if the work is difficult, or if he has been absent and has missed assignments and discussion. Students should arrange a convenient time during the day. A teacher will sometimes request that a student stay after school it it is apparent that the student is having difficulty with his work. This is not to be thought of as a punishment, but rather as the desire of the teacher to help the student make the progress of which he is capable of. Proverbs 1:7 - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
